Volete un buon motivo per passare un’ora e mezza su Beer Delirium? In effetti l’ho cercato anch’io per un bel po’ di tempo, e ora finalmente l’ho trovato. Muse, live from Seattle, 2 aprile 2010. Guardate e godete (anche se non è proprio il concerto completo).

La Canzone D’Amore

Ieri sera Bruce Springsteen e la sua E-Street Band hanno toccato Torino per il loro Working On A Dream Tour, e hanno regalato ai 35.000 spettatori presenti (mille più, mille meno) tre ore di musica senza nemmeno un minuto per riprendere il fiato.
Non mi dilungherò molto sullo spettacolo; purtroppo non conosco benissimo la musica del Boss e, anche se mi vergogno un po’ a dirlo, sono andato più che altro perché non si può passare una vita senza andare a un suo concerto.

C’è però una cosa che mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta – non l’unica ovviamente. In mezzo allo sventolare di cartelli che preannunciava il momento “canzoni a richiesta”, una tradizione nei concerti di Springsteen, la band ha suonato quella che ho eletto al rango di La Canzone D’Amore, senza dimenticarsi l’articolo determinativo e le iniziali maiuscole. Questa canzone si intitola Drive All Night, e fa più o meno così…

Per chi pensa che i Coldplay siano burattini

A questo punto si può dire che non ne sbagliano più una. I Coldplay, dopo aver pubblicato Viva la Vida trasformano tutto quello che toccano in oro purissimo, quantomeno ai miei occhi. Concerti da urlo, un EP completamente inaspettato (Prospekt’s March) con delle canzoni che non potevano essere tenute nascoste o relegate come b-sides, e ora anche dei video molto belli ed emozionanti.

E’ il caso del video di Life in Technicolor II, ultimo singolo della band estratto appunto da Prospekt’s March. Se avete avuto una giornata di merda guardatelo e vi spunterà un sorriso.

Che roba, ragazzi. Mi fanno morire dal ridere Will che fa girare la bacchetta tra le dita, il tecnico che gli raccoglie il piatto caduto a terra, Jonny che sfascia la chitarra sugli amplificatori e l’uscita finale in elicottero, tra le faccie sbigottite del “pubblico”.
